Just a few tidbits:<br />His wife was my third grade teacher, which made his cards very valuable on the southeast side of Chicago.<br />She quit her job and they intended to move to CA, but shortly after that, he was traded to the hometown Cubs.<br />He was not really a player-manager with the Single A WR Twins.
